Renew Your Membership

You can easily renew your membership online, by phone, or by mail.  Renewing online only takes a few minutes and gives you an opportunity to upgrade or change your membership.

Renewing Online

When your membership is due for renewal, you'll receive an email from us with a link to renew.   If you haven't received the email yet, or just want to get a head start, you can renew anytime on the website.  The steps to renew are the same!

Why renew online?

    • Fast and easy.  Takes less than 5 minutes!
    • Available anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    • Nothing to print or mail.  No calls to make.
    • Easily update your contact information and membership level.
    • If you haven't already, renewing online sets up your personal login for this website so you'll be ready for future website updates!


Step 1: Log In

  1. Click the Log In button in the upper right corner of this page.
  2. Enter your email address and password.

If you haven't set your password yet, click the Log In button, click Forgot Password and use the provided form to have an email sent to you with instructions for setting your password.  Click here for more information on setting your password.


Step 2: Go to Your Member Profile and Renew

    1. After logging in, click here to visit your personal member profile
    2. In your member profile, click the big blue button for Renew about halfway down the page.
    3. Confirm and update your information, then click Update and Next at the bottom.
    4. Confirm everything on the next page by clicking the Confirm button.
    5. Complete your payment.

After your renewal has been submitted, it may take a day or two for the NRG office to finalize your renewal.



Optional: Change Your Membership Level

If you'd like to change your membership type (for example, change from Print to Print+Digital), you can do that from your member profile.  

    1. Before you renew,  click here to visit your personal member profile.
    2. In your profile, just below the membership card, you'll find your membership level.  Click the Change link next to your current membership level and make the desired changes.



Renewing by Mail

As always, you can renew by printing and completing a membership form and mailing it to the NRG office.

Please allow extra time for your application and payment to be delivered to the office and processed.  If you're close to your membership expiration, we recommend using our online renewal (instructions above).


Renewing by Phone

You can also renew by calling the NRG office.  Our contact information can be found by clicking here.  Office business hours are 9am to 3pm Central time.
