The USS Constitution Model Ship Guild was founded by a group of like minded model ship builders in 1979 at the Boston Navy Yard in the shadow of the USS Constitution. Hence the name.
The USSCMSG holds its regular monthly meetings at the USS Constitution Museum on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm (1900 hrs.) Our club is open to anyone who is interested in Ships, their history, or ship modeling. We have members who model Solid Hull, Plank on Frame, Paper, and Plastic. Types of ship models range from the Age of Sail, Steel Navy, Merchant, Submarine or whatever is your interest. We now have a group of us who want to understand 3D and resins modeling.
