The Model Shipwrights of Niagara (MSON) was founded in 2008 in historic and picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL), Ontario, Canada.
We now operate without borders. Our local membership is located in the Golden Horseshoe area of southern Ontario and our distant members are presently from across Canada (sea to sea to sea), across the United States of America, from the Caribbean Islands and the United Kingdom, and beyond. Currently we have hybrid meetings; meet virtually (via ZOOM) for our distant and home-bound members, and face to face at a location in NOTL for our local members.
Our club is open to all ship/boat modellers of any age, located anywhere, to all like-minded people of any skill level working in any medium. Guests may attend two meetings FREE. Annual membership dues are $25 CAD from September to August.
We normally meet on the afternoon of the second Sunday of each month at 1:30 PM Eastern Time except for July and August when we are on summer hiatus.
If you do not have a local club you are welcome. All guests wishing to attend virtually need to register via email to receive a ZOOM link. Likewise those intending to attend a meeting face to face in NOTL need to register via email to reserve a seat and receive directions to the location.
