with Chuck Bauer
The website of the Nautical Research Guild states that the NRG is an organization with the primary mission to help the members build historically accurate ship models. The Guild's motto says, the Guild is dedicated to "Advancing Ship Modeling Through Research".
Chuck will share the techniques that he has used to make his models historically accurate and simultaneously improve their quality. This process--which he calls “Strategic Detailing”--also helps to differentiate his models from others built from the same kit.
In this Workshop Chuck will show and explain his approach to Strategic Detailing first with an oversight and then with detailed examples of how he does Flags, Using Photo Etched metal to enhance the model and Painting and Finishing techniques.
Attend this Workshop which is planned to be the first Workshop in a three-part series by Chuck. Parts 2 & 3 are complete but are not yet on our schedule.
